PSL Spot Fixing case: Sharjeel Khan's trouble increase

LAHORE: The Anti-Corruption Tribunal has formally charged Islamabad United batsman Sharjeel Khan for breaching five Articles of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Anti-Corruption Code for Participants 2015.
All the charges are related to the alleged spot-fixing and failing to disclose to PCB about the offer for spot-fixing during Pakistan Super League 2017.
The charges leveled against Sharjeel Khan include breaches of Articles 2.1.1; 2.1.2; 2.1.3; 2.4.4 and 2.4.5 of the PCB Anti-Corruption Code for Participants 2015.
Preliminary hearing for the case was held on Thursday at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore.
The three-member Anti-Corruption Tribunal was headed by justice (retd) Asghar Haider, in presence of Lt Gen Tauqir Zia and Wasim Bari.
