PS 114 results: PPP Saeed Ghani leading the four way fight

KARACHI: The unofficial results of the Karachi constituency PS 114 have started to pour in as the polling ended at 5 pm. 

Pakistan Peoples Party’s Saeed Ghani was leading in the count, according to unofficial results in by-election for Sindh Assembly constituency, PS-114, in Karachi.


The unofficial result of 20 out of 92 polling stations shows that PPP’s Saeed Ghani has obtained 6249 votes; MQM’s candidate Kamran Tessori has secured 1749 votes.

PTI’s Muhammad Najeeb Haroon has secured 1442 votes, whereas PML-N’s Ali Akbar Gujjar has obtained 1564 votes.

The vote count begun after 5:00pm as polling concluded.

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) will later announce the official result of the voting in all 92 polling stations of the constituency.

Tight security arrangements were made for smooth conduct of polling; however, clashes between political workers were witnessed in the constituency.

All political parties blamed each other for rigging.
