Protests break out in occupied Kashmir

SRINAGAR - In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference held a protest at Hyderpora in Srinagar against the inhuman treatment being meted out to the Kashmiri political prisoner in various jails of the territory and India.

A large number of Hurriyat leaders and activists participated in the protest demanded immediate release of illegal arrest leaders and activists.

Speaking on the occasion, the Hurriyat leaders appealed to the world human rightist organizations to take cognizance of the plight of Kashmiri political detainees and use their good offices for their immediate release.

Meanwhile, the High Court Bar Association of Kashmir  has expressed serious concern over the miserable plight of the Kashmiri detainees languishing in different prisons particularly those lodged at Tihar Jail in Delhi.
