PPP N for reducing Assemblies tenure to 4 years

ISLAMABAD – Leader of Opposition in National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah has on Saturday said that the Pakistan Muslim league-Nawaz (PML-N) will have to accept the judgment of the Supreme Court.

Talking to media on Saturday, while criticizing the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan, he said that said that the ECP is a state institution and should be respected by everyone.

Shah said that the name for the new chairman of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has not been finalized.

Commenting on Assembly’s tenure, he said that the PML-N and PPP are on the same page regarding reducing the tenure of the assembly to four years.

The opposition leader said that he has no reservation over ties between the Muttahida Quami Movement-Pakistan (MQM-Pakistan) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
