PML-N selects new interim party President

Senator Muhammad Yaqoob Khan Nasar will act as PML-N acting president till the presidential election is held.
The meeting of PML-N’s central executive committee will take place on August 17 which is being held to hand over the reins of the party leadership to the acting president for indefinite period of time.
The participants of the meeting will also discuss the circumstances regarding nomination of Shehbaz Sharif as future PML-N president.
