PML-N, PPP foreign funding case fixed for hearing in Supreme Court

ISLAMABAD (NNI): The matter regarding alleged foreign funding to political parties has reached the apex court. PTI’s appeal against PPP and PML-N has been set for hearing in Chief Justice’s chamber.

According to the details, Chief Justice Saqib Nisar would hold the hearing in his chamber on November 15 after it was set due to the appeals of Shireen Mazari and Asad Umar.

It is worthwhile that PTI’s Asad Umar had submitted an appeal against PML-N for alleged foreign funding while the same appeal was submitted by Shireen Mazari against PPP.

However, the registrar had objected to the appeals for not submitting them to the relevant forum, to which both party members submitted appeals against the objection of the registrar as well.
