GILGIT, May 19 (APP): PM inaugurates GB CPEC Police Hqs
Prime Minister Mohammad Nawaz Sharif Thursday inaugurated the Gilgit-Baltistan CPEC patrolling police headquarters.
Inspector General Gilgit Baltistan Zafar Iqbal Awan briefed the Prime Minister about the working and composition of the new force that would patrol the 439 kilometer stretch of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor project.
The Prime Minister was informed that the patrolling force would comprise around 300 personnel and would ensure safe and smooth flow of traffic on the road.
The Prime Minister was also shown the 25 vehicles gifted by China for the patrolling police.
