PIA sets record by offering black goat Sadqa before ATR flight

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan International Airlines has again made another record by offering sacrifice of black goat before the flight of the ATR aircraft.
Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) gave a ‘Sadqa’ of a black goat before its ATR aircraft resumed flight operations on Sunday.
The sacrifice of the goat was given at Islamabad airport moments before the plane took off for the first time after shakedown tests.
The PIA had grounded all of its 10 ATR aircraft after the Civil Aviation Authority ordered shakedown tests of the planes.
The directives came after an ATR plane reportedly caught fire on runway of Multan Airport before taking off last week.
