PEMRA issues show cause notice to the private TV Channel

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Electronic Media Regularatory Authority (PEMRA) has become active against the illegal and immoral contents on the private Television channels being aired.

Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority has issued show cause notice to Royal Television for violation of code of conduct.
The notice said that a programme of the TV channel "Sach Magar Karwa" on Monday had used defamatory words.

PEMRA has asked the TV channel to reply within seven days.
