ISLAMABAD - Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has initiated action against Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Najam Sethi over allegedly receiving gifts worth Rs16 million.
According to details, over 200 names have been framed in the list compiled by FBR. Sethi has declared gifts worth aforementioned price.
Sources privy to development told our correspondent that FBR would take action against those mentioned in the list if gifts received are proven illegal.
Back then on August-30 this year, PCB had selected Sethi as 30th PCB chief after Shehryar Khan relinquished. Sethi, who is heading the successful Pakistan Super League, was elected unopposed.
