Panama Leaks decision in Supreme Court under tight security

ISLAMABAD – The Supreme Court of Pakistan is announcing the historical judgment of Panama Paper Leaks case today (Thursday).

A five-member larger bench of apex court headed by Justice Ejaz Afzal and comprises of Justice Gulzar Ahmed, Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed, and Justice Ejaz-ul-Hassan is announcing judgment at 2:00 pm.

On this occasion, fool proof security arrangements are made inside and outside the Supreme Court to avert any untoward incident by the district administration. No person is allowed to enter the courtroom without special security entry pass.

There is a ban on the entry of political workers in the premises of Supreme Court while PTI’s Chairman Imran Khan, President Awami Muslim League Sheikh Rashid Ahmed and Ameer Jamiat-e-Islami Siraj-ul-Haq are being provided special security.

The parties of the Panama Papers Leaks are being issued with 15 entry passes each.

Over 500 police personnel and an additional contingent of rangers are being  deployed outside the Supreme Court.

Almost 6 to 8 police personnel are being deployed for the security of every political leader. Only entry pass holders are allowed to enter the courtroom.
