Panama Leaks case decision can descend Pakistan into financial chaos

LAHORE: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Aitzaz Ahsan has on Sunday said that it is impossible for the court to accept Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif’s stance on Qatari letters.
“If we accept this Qatari letter rule, Pakistan will descend into financial anarchy”, he said.
Talking to media after visiting slain PPP leader Babar Butt’s home, Aitzaz Ahsan said that the Qatari letter was nothing but fiction. He said that it was impossible for the court to accept Sharif family’s stance in Panama case. He added that had Supreme Court demanded record from PM, the case could have ended in a day.
He further said that the firing on Shaukat Basra and the murder of Babar Butt were clear proofs of government’s incompetence. He demanded that the government must take action and immediately arrest Babar Butt’s murderers.
