Pakistani connections are behind JN University protests: Indian Home Minister Rajnath Singh
NEW DELHI: Indian Home Minister Rajnath Singh claimed that Pakistani connections are involved in Jawaharlal Nehru University protest.

He claimed that protests were supported by Jamat-u-Dawa JuD chief Hafiz Saeed.

He claimed that government would not spare any one and strict actions would be taken against those who are found guilty.

He referred to the protest held in JNU against the hanging of Afzal Guru in 2013.

The protesters raised anti-India slogans and shouted pro Pakistan slogans in JNU.

JNU students union leader Kanhaiya Kumar has been arrested by police on criminal and sedition charges.

Opposition parties claimed that the charge is very serious and Singh should provide concrete evidence to back his claim.
