Pakistan working on saving Arabian sea from pollution, help growth of mangroves, marine life

Minister for Climate Change Mushahidullah Khan says Pakistan will participate in ocean conference in Malta next month.

Talking to Ambassador of European Union Jean Francois Caution in Islamabad on Wednesday, the Minister said producing renewable energy from the waste produced from Buffalo Colony, hospitals and industries in Karachi would save Arabian Sea from pollution and help growth of mangroves and marine life.

Mushahid Ullah Khan said Pakistan 's contribution in global Carbon emission is less than 0.08 per cent.

Jean Francois Caution said EU is working on 165 power projects in Malakand division which will produce 28 MW of electricity.
