Pakistan takes steps to eradicate human trafficking

Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal says Pakistan is taking solid steps to stop human trafficking.

Talking to a US delegation headed by US Ambassador to Pakistan David Hale in Islamabad, he termed human trafficking as the worst form of humanity.

The Minister said Pakistan and United States should take joint steps against human trafficking.

Ahsan Iqbal said Pak-US knowledge corridor can provide a new dimension to relations between the two countries.

He said Pakistan has rendered unrivalled sacrifices in war on terror.

The US delegation appreciated the role of Pakistan in maintaining peace in the region.
