ISLAMABAD (APP): The players drafting ceremony for the second edition of the high profile Pakistan Super League (PSL) would be be held on Wednesday in the ICC Global Cricket Academy in Dubai.

According to Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) media manager Raza Rashid many top international players will be seen in action in PSL.

He said the players drafting exists on 414 foreign and national players who will be further divided into five categories.

Platinum category includes 28 players, diamond category 33, gold category 74, silver category 255 and emerging category includes 24 players.

Platinum category includes nine Pakistani and 19 foreign players.

He said the top players in this category includes Shane Watson, Shakib al Hasan, Alex Hales, Ian Morgan, Jason Roy, Kevin Peterson, Stuart Broad, Brendon McCallum, Kumar Sangakkara, Lasith Malinga, Mahela Jayawardena, Andrew Russell, Darren Sammy, Chris Gayle, Dwayne Bravo, Dwayne Smith, Kieron Pollard, Marlon Samuels, Sunil Narine, Misbah ul Haq, Muhammad Hafeez, Sarfraz Ahmed, Shahid Afridi, Shoaib Malik, Umar Akmal, Wahab Raiz and Younis Khan.

He said that ten Zimbabwe players and also those countries players who are not test playing nation are also included in the 414 players drafting list.

"The players included from the non test playing nations include Afghanistan 9 players, Ireland 6 players, Holland 2 players while one player each from Canada, Oman, UAE and USA," he said.
