Pakistan Stock Exchange witnesses one of the steepest rise in a single day

ISLAMABAD - The Pakistan Stock Exchange was bullish on Monday.
The KSE-100 Index closed on Monday at 40791.39 points as compared to previous closing at 39846.78 points with a positive change of 944.61 points.
The total turnover was 124,799,110 as compared 153,825,050 yesterday with Chakwal Spinning reflecting the highest turnover of 10,977,000.
The total 388 companies’ transacted shares in the Stock Market today. Out of which 296 recorded gains and 79 sustained losses whereas the share price of 13 companies remained unchanged.
Wyeth Pakistan XD recorded the maximum increase in its share price, which was 60.02 rupees while J.D.W Sugar recorded maximum decrease that was 15.00 rupees.
