Pakistan Stock Exchange suffers further decline

KARACHI - The Pakistan Stock Exchange was bearish on Monday.

The KSE-100 Index closed on Monday at 40324.32 points as compared to 41105.41 points on previous trading day with a negative change of 781.09 points.

The total turnover was 98,711,760 as compared 133,237,690 previous trading day with Nishat (Chun.) reflecting the highest turnover of 6,880,000.

The total 373 companies’ transacted shares in the Stock Market today. Out of which 71 recorded gains and 283 sustained losses whereas the share price of 19 companies remained unchanged.

Colgate Palmolive recorded the maximum increase in its share price, which was 110.00 rupees while Nestle Pakistan recorded maximum decrease that was 198.10 rupees.
