ISLAMABAD, Jun 13 (APP): Pakistan Senate session proceedings of the day
The session of the Upper House of the Parliament started at 11:34 am with the recitation of the some verses of the holy Quran-e-Karim.
Chairman Senate Mian Raza Rabbani is chairing the session. As per agenda Senator Muhammad Atteeq Shaikh would move a Calling Attention Notice regarding 3.5 percent decrease in the exports of textile and clothing during the first ten months of the current financial year.
Senator Lt Gen (Retd) Abdul Qayyum would move a Calling Attention Notice, regarding reorganization and fresh raising of civil armed forces to enhance their capacity to meet border management challenges and security threats during war and peace.
Convener Special committee on China-Pak Economic Corridor (CPEC) Senator Taj Haider will present second interim report of the committee on CPEC.
The budget of the Senate for the FY 2016-17 and the expenditures incurred during the financial years (FY) 2012-13, 2013-14, 2014-15 and 2015-16 will be laid before the Senate.
The Senate would continue discussions on federal budget.
