Pakistan - Saudi Arabia vow to enhance bilateral ties

ISLAMABAD - Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have agreed to work together for achieving economic development and prosperity of the Muslim world.
The resolve was expressed at a meeting between Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal and Saudi Ambassador Nawaf Saeed Al-Maliki in Islamabad in Tuesday.
The Minister said relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are based on deep religious and cultural lines.
He said Pakistan and Saudi Arab will continue to play their role in ensuring peace in the region.
Ahsan Iqbal said collective efforts by all the Muslim countries are imperative to eradicate extremism.
The Saudi Ambassador termed launching of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor a beneficial step towards development of Muslim Ummah.
