Pakistan Railways Khyber Mail engine catches fire, Down train traffic blocked

Pakistan Railways Khyber Mail’s engine caught fire near Khairpur yesterday due unknown reasons.
The train was halted with immediate effect and further damage was averted.
Down train traffic remained suspended for two hours because of the incident. The fire was extinguished but the engine developed a technical problem.
After a delay of two hours, an engine from Rohri was installed and the train departed to Karachi.
