Pakistan again lodges strong protest with India over fresh ceasefire violation by the Indian troops in Leepa sector
Foreign Office says despite calls for restraint, India continues to indulge in ceasefire violations.

Pakistan has lodged a strong protest with India over the recent ceasefire violation by the Indian troops in Leepa sector which resulted in the martyrdom of two civilians and injuries to six others.

According to the Foreign Office, the Indian Deputy High Commissioner was summoned to the foreign office today to condemn the ceasefire violation.

The Foreign Office in a statement said that despite calls for restraint, India continues to indulge in ceasefire violations.

It said Indian forces have carried out more than 1150 ceasefire violations along the Line of Control and the Working Boundary this year, resulting in the Shahadats of 49 innocent civilians and injuries to 165.
