Pakistan is the only SAARC country to improve by 3 points in Corruption Perception Index: CPI Report
LONDON: The Transparency International says that Pakistan is the only country among 5 SAARC countries that has improved its Corruption Perception Index (CPI) score.

 

The remaining 4 countries including India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal scored same or less as compared to the score in 2014.

 

TI Pakistan Chairmen Sohail Muzaffar said that Government should implement TI Pakistan’s recommendations to perform better and show zero tolerance for Corruption.

 

The Index covered the perception of 168 countries and many countries improved their score in 2015.

 

Pakistan's score  increased by one point to 30 and improved the rank by 3 Points.

 

The bigger decliner was Brazil with 5 points at 76th rank.
