Pakistan - Iran to ink Strategic Trade Policy Framework

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Iran have signed on 6 agreement in the field of health, finance, foreign services as well as to open two border crossings to further enhance the trade ties of both countries.
As per details, Pakistan-Iran have inked Strategic Trade Policy Framework to boost bilateral trade and move forward towards free trade agreement between both countries.
PM Nawaz expressed his hope that Iranian President visit would further strengthen the bilateral ties of both countries while the decision of opening of two border crossings was taken to enhance people to people contacts and cooperation in different fields.
While expressing his satisfaction on his visit to Pakistan, Hasan Rouhani made it clear that Pakistan’s security is Iran’s security. Both dignitaries held meeting one on one later meeting was held on delegation level to discuss bilateral ties in diverse areas of trade, economy and energy.
Both sides agreed to resolve regional issues and signed on different agreements. Both sides delegations decided to enhance the volume of bilateral trade at $ 5 billion while both countries would take measures to make easy access to trade markets.
