Pakistan has made important contributions in war on terror and regional peace: China

China has defended Pakistan's role in the fight against terrorism. The Chinese Foreign Ministry's reaction came after US President Donald Trump accused Islamabad of not doing enough to eliminate "safe havens" on its soil.
Addressing daily briefing in Beijing on Tuesday, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman said Pakistan is on the front-line in the war against terrorism and had made "great sacrifices" and "important contributions" in this connection.
The Spokeswoman said Beijing believes that the international community should fully recognise Pakistan's key role in the fight against terrorism.
