Pakistan DGMO holds unscheduled hotline contact with Indian counterpart

RAWALPINDI – In an unscheduled talk over hotline on Saturday, Pakistan Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) Maj Gen Sahir Shamshad Mirza raised the issue of unprovoked firing carried out by the Indian Army along the Line of Control (LoC).

In a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Pakistan DGMO while protesting on unprovoked Indian firing along the Line of Control (LoC) said that Indian troops were deliberately targeting innocent civilians including children and said that such deliberate actions are serious concern and violation of 2003 agreement.

The statement further said that the Indian army was told that targeting of civilians was unprofessional and unethical.
