Pakistan Army fire silences Indian Army guns on LoC

Indian forces targeted civilian elements in Abbaspur sector in Rawlakot along the line of control today (Sunday).

Villages of Polas and Taroti in Abbaspur sector were targeted by the Indian forces.

According to ISPR, Pak Army gave befitting response, silencing the Indian guns.

No casualty or damage was reported on the Pakistani side.

Tensions in Kashmir, the long-disputed Himalayan region, reached dangerous levels in September last year after 19 Indian soldiers were killed in militants’ attack on their camp in Uri sector.

There have since been repeated outbreaks of cross-border firing, with both sides reporting deaths and injuries including of civilians.
