Pakistan and Russia ink accord for the purchase of RD- 93 engines for JF- 17 Fighters

ISLAMABAD: An agreement has been signed between Pakistan and Russia to purchase the engine for JF 17 aircraft. According to agreement Pakistan will purchase RD- 93 engines for JF 17. Minister for Defense Production said that Pakistan is negotiating with 4 countries to complete design of JF 17 in Pakistan. The exports of ordinance factory will increase to 10 $ crore dollars at the end of current year. While talking to media, he said Pakistan will now directly purchase engines from Russia. Pakistan is also getting technology from 4 countries and soon we will be able to complete the design of JF 17 in our country. He added. Pakistan has succeeded to fulfill the 80% defense necessities of Pak Arm forces.
