Pak-China strategic partnership is imperative for region : Experts

ISLAMABAD (APP): International Expert Dr. Pervaiz Iqbal Cheema has said that a strategic partnership between Pakistan and China is imperative for entire region.
Talking to Radio Pakistan, he said China is trying to rise peacefully and it wants peace throughout the region.
He added that the visit of Chief of the Army Staff Brig. Redt, (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa to china will further strengthen strategic partnership of two countries added that he will ensure Chinese leadership about security of CPEC project.
Senator, PML-N Lt. Gen. Retd. Abdul Qayyum has said that China and Pakistan have historical ties, which are not affected by changing governments in two countries.
He said both the countries have always supported each other in the times of crisis. Few countries wanted to encircle China but Pakistan has stood by it.
He added Pakistan's civil and military leadership have effectively eradicated terrorism from our soil and Pakistan is having cooperation with china in production sector as well.
