Operation against terrorists and their facilitators to be intensified in Punjab: Apex Committee

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif chaired a meeting of Provincial Apex Committee in Lahore. Corps Commander Lahore Gen. Sadiq was also present in the meeting. While addressing the meeting, Shahbaz Sharif said government has taken effective steps to eradicate the terrorism. CM also appreciated the role of martyr Shuja Khanzada for the eradication of terrorism. Operation will continue against terrorist and their facilitators without any discrimination. Shahbaz said. CM further stated that Government will continue its struggle to root out the extremism and terrorism. The Apex committee expressed its satisfaction over the security situation of the province. The meeting decided to take effective measure for the implementation of National Action Plan NAP. The meeting also decided to crush the activities of banned organizations. The banned organizations will not be allowed to collect Zakat and Fitrana. The meeting also paid tributes to the soldiers who have lost their lives in war against terrorism.
