Oil Price hike will cause more inflation in the country: Asif Zardari

KARACHI: Former president and Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari has on Wednesday termed the recent increase, up to Rs 2.50 per liter in prices of petroleum products as ‘cruel move’ by the incumbent government.
Talking to media, Asif Ali Zardari said that the government is creating difficulties for the people instead of providing them relief.
He said that the price hike will cause more inflation in the country, therefore, this decision should be withdrawn, he demanded.
