Nawaz Sharif says situation in Pakistan is not satisfactory

LONDON: Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has said that the situation in Pakistan is not satisfactory and the country is heading towards anarchy.

Talking to the media in London on Thursday, he said that instability in the country affects economy. “The stock exchange is declining daily. The CPEC project is not advancing as it was during his tenure,” he maintained.

He said that they had reduced terrorism, but now it had started surfacing.

“Electricity is surplus in the country due to our efforts. The country was making progress, but now it is facing hurdles,” he added.

Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif hoped that the government will complete its tenure. “Those playing the politics of bodies will defeat,” he added.
