Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz depart London for Lahore

LONDON – Former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president Nawaz Sharif will depart for Pakistan today from London.
According to reports former prime minister will be traveling back to Pakistan via Pakistan International Airlines flight PK-758 from London Heathrow arriving at Alama Iqbal International Airport Lahore at 8:00 am.
Nawaz Sharif had departed for London on December 4 after being exempted from appearing before the court to attend to his ailing wife Begum Kulsoom Nawaz.
Sharif had been granted exemption from appearing before the court till December 12. The last hearing for the case was conducted on the 11th and the next will be held on December 19.
