Nawaz Sharif indicted in the second NAB reference

ISLAMABAD – Nawaz Sharif on Thursday has been indicted by accountability court in the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) reference pertaining to Azizia Steel Mill.
During the hearing headed by Justice Muhammad Bashir, Nawaz Sharif sent a representative on his behalf as he is in London for the treatment of his wife. The lawyer further denied the charges.
Earlier today, Nawaz Sharif, his daughter Maryam Nawaz, and son-in-law Capt (retd) Safdar were indicted in the National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) Avenfield reference against them.
The court has sought testimonies over both cases and directed to hold fair investigation.
