National Karate Championship to kick off

MULTAN (APP)-The 24th National Tenshinkan karate championship would begin from December 17 here.

Pakistan Karate Team wins 19 medals in India 

According to sources,District Karate association with help of Taekwondo Federation is going to organize two days national karate championship at District sports ground gymnasium hall to continue till December 18.

The karate teams at provincial level from across the country would join the event while two karate teams of Punjab province including one team from south Punjab including Sahiwal,Multan,Bahawalpur and DG Khan districts and one upper Punjab team consisting on Lahore,Rawalpindi, Faisalabad and Gujranwala district would participate in the event.

Trophies would be awarded to winning and runner-up teams.

Malik Ijaz Ahmad Rajwana is chairman of executive committee, Sher Afghan Ansari vice-chairman,Dr Shaukat is organizing secretary. While executive committee members include Khalid Haleem Mirza,Chaudhary Muhammad Hussain, Khalid Imran,Mansoor Javed, Muhammad Shakir,Umar Farooq and Ghulam Mustafa.
