National Command Authority under the chairmanship of PM expresses satisfaction over nuclear safety

ISLAMABAD: The meeting of the National Command and Control Authority was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif here on Wednesday.
As per details, PM Nawaz chaired the 22nd session of National Command and Control Authority and the participant of the meeting expressed their satisfaction over the nuclear safety. The meeting also decided to maintain defense capabilities.
Federal Minister for Interior Ch. Nisar, Minister for Defense Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Chairman Joint Chief of Staff Committee, Chiefs of the Armed Forces and DG Strategic Plans Division attended the meeting.
According to ISPR, the participants of the meeting were briefed over the nuclear conference which is going to be held in Washington next month. National Command and Control Authority expressed its satisfaction over the security of nuclear assets and made it clear that Pakistan has the capability to become the part of nuclear supplier group.
National Command and Control Authority further added that the nuclear capability of Pakistan is important for the stability of South Asia. The participants of the meeting expressed their concerns over the race of strategic and conventional weapons and said that non-discriminatory policy should be followed in international forums.
