NAB member of JIT Irfan Mangi served show cause notice

ISLAMABAD – National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has issued Show Cause notice to its JIT member Irfan Naeem Mangi over speeches that violated code.
According to the bureau, over 100 officials were served notices and Mangi was not an exception. The department has asserted that notice was served out of top court’s order.
The committee formed by the apex court in the matter is headed by Secretary of Establishment Division and that the notices were served long before the JIT was constituted.
Rebuttal of the accountability department has come in after JIT head, Additional Director General of Federal Investigation Team (FIA) complained to the court last week that an official of the probe committee, Mangi was served notice to allegedly influence team’s report.
