NA-120: "Ballay Pay Thapa" becomes top trend on Twitter

LAHORE – As the polling for the bye-election in NA-120 constituency Lahore is in progress in a peaceful manner, Balay pe Thappa has became the top trend on Twitter, on Sunday.
Supporters of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) from all over the world took to the social media website to express their support for the party’s candidate during the by-poll.
The seat fell vacant following the disqualification of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif in Panamagate case.
A tough contest is expected between Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) candidate Kalsoom Nawaz and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) candidate Dr Yasmeen Rashid.
