Multan swing case: District Court grants bail to swing contractor

MULTAN: (APP) An additional and district sessions judge granted bail to contractor of swing, which fell down on Eid ul Azha causing the death of a teenager, against surety bond of Rs 50,000.
The court also sought record from Shah Rukn Alam police station on September 27.
Haji Niabat Khan, the contractor of swing at Jinnah Park, had filed an application for bail in which he pleaded that he was innocent and was implicated in the case deliberately.
It is pertinent to mention here that a youngster died and many others sustained injuries after a swing fell.
