Modi to offer Saudi Arabia defence and security cooperation 

RIYADH: Indian Prime Minister to offer Saudi Arabia defence and security cooperation upon his arrival on Saturday.

 

It is also claimed that Modi will strengthen their ties in several fields and sign trade agreements.

 

Modi claimed that ties with Saudi Arabia are special and want the Kingdom as a strategic partner.

 

Modi said “Robust people-to-people ties constitute a key component of our engagement. I plan to work with the Saudi leadership to expand and deepen our bilateral relations. Discussions on the regional situation would also be on the agenda.”

 

Modi will arrive in Saudi Arabia on Saturday afternoon and attend a ceremony at the Royal Court where he will meet with Saudi Ministers.

 

King Salman will also host a lunch in Modi’s honour.

 

Modi will also visit historical places including Masmak Fortress and visit L&T workers, residential complex and Tata Consultancy Services.

 

It will be his last three nation tour which includes Brussels and US.

 


Modi will leave for India on Sunday afternoon.
