Met Office forecast hot, dry weather most parts of the country

ISLAMABAD: Mainly hot and dry weather to grip most parts of country during next 24 hours, however light rain and thunderstorm is expected at few places in Kashmir.
Dry continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country, an official of Met office Muhammad Farooq told APP.
In last 24 hours weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country. However, rain-thunderstorm occurred at isolated places in Malakand division, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.
Rainfall recorded during this time span was KP: Saidu Sharif 09mm, Malamjabba 07mm, Risalpur 05mm, Balakot 03mm, Kakul, Lower Dir, Chitral 01mm, Kashmir: Garidupatta 06mm, Muzaffarabad 05mm, Rawalakot 04mm and GB: Hunza, Skardu 01mm.
Highest maximum temperatures recorded on Tuesday were Mirpurkhas, Turbat, Sukrand, Shaheed Benazirabad, Lasbella 42øC, Dadu, Sukkur, Rohri 41øC, Hyderabad 39øC, Lahore 35øC, Karachi 34øC, Faisalabad, Multan 33øC, Quetta 29øC, Islamabad 28øC, Peshawar 26øC, Chitral 23øC, Dir, Muzaffarabad 20øC, Gilgit 19øC, Skardu 18øC and Murree 16øC.
Pollen count was 87/m3 of air in this time duration. (APP)
