Massive protests by Kashmiris against India in front of UN building

NEW YORK  – Raising vociferous anti-India slogans and waving placards, hundreds of Kashmiri community members Wednesday staged a demonstration in front of the United Nations building to condemn the killings of their brethren in Indian Occupied Kashmir.

The protest push the UN to implement its resolutions on the longstanding dispute, as the world leaders gather in the US for the 72nd session of the United Nations General Assembly.

The Kashmiris voiced their outrage over the killing of innocent Kashmiris across the occupied state.

The demonstrators carried photographs of Kashmiri youth injured by pellets and condemned the use of deadly force against peaceful demonstrators.

They demanded the UN to send a fact-finding mission to Occupied Kashmir and end the atrocities of Indian forces.

“India: Out of Kashmir”, “We Want Freedom From India”, Wake Up and Wake Up–UN”, were some of the placards the protesters were holding.
