Massive protests being held in occupied Kashmir after Jumma prayers

SRINAGAR - In occupied Kashmir, Indian police arrested Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front, Muhammad Yasin Malik from his residence in Srinagar, on Friday.

A spokesman of JKLF in a statement in Srinagar said that Yasin Malik was arrested to prevent him from leading protests against unabated braid-chopping incidents in occupied Kashmir.

The joint resistance leadership comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik has called for demonstrations after Juma prayers, Friday, against the braid-cutting incidents and brutalities of Indian forces in the occupied territory.
