Mashaal Khan murder case makes further progress

MARDAN – Mashaal Khan murder case has made further progress as Police has arrested another accused involved in the brutal murder of the Mardan University student who was lynched to death on blasphemy charges.
The police arrested another accused of the Mashal Khan murder case on Thursday.
According to the Mardan DPO, the number of accused has increased to 48 after the arrest of Ali Khan.
However, PTI’s tehsil councilor Arif could not be arrested so far.
The addition IG Investigations has sent a letter to the Interior Ministry regarding passport number and other details of Arif.
The police have contacted the FIA to put Arif’s name on the exit control list.
As many as 49 accused were identified through the videos in the Mashal Khan case.
