Maryam Nawaz authority challenged by PTI

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf in an interesting development has challenged the authority of the daughter of the Prime Minister of Pakistan Maryam Nawaz over the issues of the National Security.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Andleeb Abbas on Friday demanded the Prime Minister’s Office to submit “certified information” regarding the misuse of authority and abuse of taxpayer’s money by Maryam Nawaz.“The misuse of authority by Maryam Nawaz and the abuse of taxpayer’s money is a matter of corrupt and illegal practices,” the letter addressed to the principal secretary of the Prime Minister’s Secretariat read.
“Being the citizen of Pakistan and a taxpayer, under the Article 19-A of the Constitution of Pakistan and Free of Information Ordinance, 2002, I Andleeb Abbas, need certified information regarding misuse of Prime Minister office by his daughter Maryam Nawaz Sharif, who does not hold any public office or official position and is not even an elected representative.”
