Lahore High Court gives a blow to federal government

The Lahore High Court has on Tuesday cancelled a notification for five autonomous regulatory bodies under the control of ministries.
The government had put five authorities including Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) and National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) under different ministries.
The applicant told the court that notification has been issued against the law and it should be suspended.
The court after hearing the arguments ordered to cancel the notification.
