KP Police to be given professional training: IGP says

PESHAWAR: The Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Salah-ud-din Khan has said that to further enhance the capacity building best professional training would be provided to all rank officers of the police force.

This, he said, while addressing as a chief guest at an Advance Course Certificates distribution ceremony held at Police School of Tactics Hayatabad Peshawar Wednesday.

In the Advance Course SDPOs were imparted training about the security of Sensitive and vital Installation and Premises and safe use of police force.

The police chief informed that protection of life and property and safe guarding the rights of the general public was the prime responsibility of the police force.

He further went on to say to achieve this goal, it was imperative that police was equipped with best latest training.

The IGP maintained that continuous training serve as backbone for polishing the hidden capabilities of the force jawans.

He disclosed that best training would be provided to all rank officers of the force added that all SDPOs of the province will complete this course and more detailed courses would be arranged for the officers in next phase.

The IGP stressed upon the course participants to practically demonstrate the training in the field which they had received during the course and ensure security of sensitive and vital installation and premises and safe use of the police force in an effective manner.

The IGP also informed that field officer would be held responsible in case of any negligence.

Earlier, Director of the School, Col (R) Waqar Buhran threw light on the purpose of the course and practical training imparted to the participants.

Later on, the IGP distributed Advance Course Certificates amongst the participants. It merits mention here that it was 3rd course of its nature and a total of 22 SDPOs from across the province participated in the course. (APP)
