KP government to sack MD Khyber Bank

PESHAWAR – The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet decided to sack Khyber Bank MD Shamsul Qayyum and issued him a show-cause notice in this regard.
The decision was made in a meeting on Tuesday.
KP Information Minister Shah Farman said that Shamsul Qayyum had tried to defame the Jamaat-e-Islami and charge-sheet the provincial government.
He said that Imran Khan’s statement given to BBC Urdu is being presented in a wrong way.
He said that the cabinet has decided to serve the termination notice on the Khyber Bank managing director under the law.
