KP government extensive steps for development of tourism

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is spending five billion rupees on infrastructure development of tourism areas the province.

Secretary Tourism Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Muhammad Tariq told our Peshawar correspondent that the projects include construction and widening roads leading to Saif ul Malook Lake, Kalam and Shogran. 

More than five hundred million rupees are also being spent on renovation of rest houses, hotels, public parks, food street, flower markets and street lights.

The projects will add beauty and promote tourism in the areas.

Meanwhile, the provincial government has approved reconstruction of Bahrain- Kalam road. It will be  completed at a cost of one point two billion rupees in two years.
