Karachi Port transporters strike costed Pakistan Rs. 214 billion in 10 days

KARACHI – Goods transporters have ended their 10-day strike after successful talks with the Sindh government and governor on Thursday.

Owing to the strike, containers capacity in all ports ran over.

The Rs 214 billion transactions have been affected by the strike.

The Goods Transporters Association office-bearers said that they have withdrawn the strike call after their reservations were removed.

“From today, the work will start in routine,” they said.
